Constantly on the lookout for new ways to modify and update my wellness routine the topic of food combining has recently been on my mind. As I explored this way of eating, I figured I’d bring in the big guns to better explain – Melissa Wood Tepperberg, a health and wellness coach, model (obvious, I know) and a mom! The basics of food combing:

+ Eat fruit on an empty stomach, alone and preferably in the morning

+ Eat proteins with greens

+ Eat grains with greens

+ Don’t mix grains and proteins

+ Graduate your meals throughout the day – lightest in the morning to heaviest at night

Watch the video and refer to the chart below for a more complex look at how meals are broken down or combined rather and try it out for a week or so to gauge if eating this way agrees with you!
